About Sofia Tihanyi
Sofia Tihanyi is the founder of Visionary Dental Solutions, a fractional dental practice management company designed to give private dental practices access to experienced management leadership—without the cost of hiring a full-time office manager or another front office team member.
Sofia began her career in healthcare in 2012 and has specialized in dentistry since 2014. With more than a decade of hands-on experience, she understands the day-to-day realities of running a dental practice and the operational challenges that can impact growth, team performance, profitability, and the patient experience.
Through Visionary Dental Solutions, Sofia works alongside dentists and their teams as an extension of their practice. Rather than simply providing recommendations and walking away, she brings practical management support directly into the business—helping practices establish stronger systems, improve accountability, develop their teams, optimize workflows, and create greater operational consistency.
Her approach combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Sofia has a natural ability to see the bigger picture while identifying the small details that can have a significant impact on a practice’s success. She is passionate about bringing structure to chaos, solving complex operational and financial challenges, and helping dental teams work more effectively together.
Sofia earned her MBA in March 2026 and holds a BA from the University of Washington Foster School of Business. Her education, combined with more than a decade of experience in healthcare and dental practice management, allows her to bring both business strategy and real-world perspective to every practice she serves.
